With its 5-liter capacity, the waterproof zip closure provides secure access to the 5-liter capacity interior, featuring an extensive organizing system and a key clip to keep your fly boxes and essentials in place. The front includes a water-resistant (not waterproof) zippered pocket for extra storage, and the Velcro fly patch lets you dry wet flies or personalize the bag with your own patch.
Practical design for tools and accessories
Easily secure a plier by threading it through one of the back upper webbing loops and attaching it to the centered loops. Accessory loops on each side panel offer additional customization and utility.
Quick-Buckle™ Compatibility
As with all our chest- and waist bags, the WP Waistbag 5 includes webbing loops on the back for attaching it to the front of all Guideline backpacks, allowing it to function as a chest pack. This offers versatile storage options and multiple carrying configurations, depending on your preferences and fishing situation.

We think that a pack system shall offer adaptive solutions and have the ability to be worn in a multitude of ways. During hot summer days fishing from a bank a waist mounted configuration may be the best, but while deep wading with a heavy backpack a chest mount will probably be better. Either way, the Guideline Quick-Buckle System and detachable wait belts let you choose the configuration you need.
Cross Family Compatibility
The Guideline Quick-Buckle System is available on ALL our bags and packs, no matter the family; the technical Experience series, the lightweight ULBC family or the waterproof WP lineup.
This means you have full connectivity from the Experience family; Chest Pack, Vest, DW Vest and Waistbag 6. From the Ultralight ULBC family; Daypack 25, Daypack 35 and Waistbag 3. And from the Waterproof WP family; WP Waistbag 5, WP Backpack ZIP 21 and WP Backpack RollTop 21. To round it all up you can also attach both the small and big pockets from the Experience Multi Harness onto all the backpacks mentioned above.
Waist to Chest & Vice Versa
We call our smaller bags either chest pack or waist bag, but that is just its primary use. All chest packs can be mounted on the hip and be carried as a waist bag, and all waist bags have the ability to convert seamlessly into a chest pack. This is thanks to our Quick-Buckle System that is found on all our bags and packs, no matter the family.
