The NT11 Switch is the latest series of rods for the NT11 migratory and anadrome range. You will find 3 different models to choose from to cover any given situation or river you want to fish. These types of switch rods are more used as dedicated short double hand rods to handle larger fish in mid size to larger rivers. The rods has a very "easy to cast" type of action with a deep flexing curve that is very similar to the NT11 double hand rods. Like all of our NT11 rods, the NT11 Switch is made with the highest modulus carbon fibre we have ever used, together with the extremely durable and strong T1100 carbon fibre.
The lighter models is perfect for large migratory trout and steealhead, but will of course be a great tool for the salmon angler. If you need a shorter yet powerful rod to handle heavier lines and large fish, the #8/9 will be the perfect choice for you. Regardless if you want a lighter and short spey rod or a short "power stick", the NT11 Switch rod range got you covered. And with the rods being 6pc, its extremely "travel friendly" if you like to chase for chrome somewhere else in the world.

- 25-year original owner warranty: The NT11 fly rods come with a 25-year original owner warranty. This warranty covers faults in material and/or workmanship. During the warranty period (from the date of purchase), you will be entitled to the repair or replacement (at our discretion) of damaged or defective sections of your rod. If the rod model is discontinued and/or we are unable to repair or replace a rod section, we will replace your rod with a comparable rod model (at our discretion).

11´6" #6/7: This is the perfect rod for situations from smaller to larger rivers and will handle all types of lines and sizes of fish. Its a perfect rod for large migratory trout, steelhead and of course salmon in mid sized sivers.
11´6" #7/8: This is probably the most popular and versatile rod in the range, being powerful enough to cover big water and large fish, yet being smooth and light enough to sneak around in smaller rivers chasing migratory trout.
11´6" #8/9: The "big gun" in the NT11 Switch range, designed to cope with tough waters, heavy lines and big fish but still being a more suitable rod in tight conditions and mid size rivers. Even though it has an huge amount of power, you will still have a very nice and light feeling whilst casting and fishing it.
Technology
NT11 rods use an ultra-elastic 46T Low Resin Material which makes it possible to create feather-light blanks with a crisp feeling that greatly improves sensitivity. Layers of T1100 graphite with extremely high tensile- and compression strength are then added both on the inside and outside of the 46T material, creating an incredibly strong wall and foundation for unmatched performance, durability and reliability in the blanks. Together with this, we use a carbon-scrim material with a proprietary CAP (Complex Axial Pattern) with 0, 45, 90 and -45 degrees, Cross Construction structure. This produces a lightning-fast recovery speed, increases the casting distance and improves the compression strength. High-strength TORAYCA NANOALLOY®-resin reinforced graphite improves the toughness and increases durability in the rods.
Casting and fish-fighting cause countless amounts of flexing and unloading of the blank, the Nano-material prevents damage due to external shocks, internal stresses or fatigue. The material properties implemented into our NT11 blanks can be described with these simple words, Extreme durability, Low weight and Unmatched recovery speed. Making a strong blank while making it extremely light is the ultimate goal of fishing rod development. But in a standard manufacturing process, a rod runs the risk of breaking too easily if it is light and with thin walls. It also often becomes too heavy if it is built to be strong enough. The properties and the performance in our NT11 rods are difficult to imitate by ordinary manufacturers as we use the best available materials together with the best available manufacturing- and reinforcement-technologies to achieve an ideal structure in the blanks.

The hot orange flashwing is designed for typical flood conditions. When the river is brown from the rainwater or icy cold from melting snow, this is a favorite! But also a joker when the salmon has been in the ponds for a while and starts to get aggressive. This fly is also excellent for supplementing the "opposite theory", when everyone goes with 5-8 cm hair wing flies in earthy colors, it can be incredibly toxic to come up with a small hot orange flashwing on slow salmon.
