The ULS Multi Tip shooting heads have a floating body and come in three different weights. They feature smooth, slim, and strong welded loops and are designed for single-hand rods in line weights 4-8. If you're unsure which body weight to choose, we recommend a lower line weight rod for single-hand Spey casting and a higher line weight rod for various casting styles. For example, a #4/5 shooting head pairs perfectly with a #4 rod for primarily Spey casting and with a #5 rod for a mix of casting techniques.
Each Multi Tip pack includes three interchangeable tips—Float, S2/S3, and S6/S7—housed in a convenient mesh wallet. Additionally, two more tips (H/I and S4/S5) are available separately, making a total of five options. Despite their lightweight design, these shooting heads have a powerful taper that easily turns over large flies. For maximum casting distance, we recommend a mono shooting line such as Compline II. If optimal line control is your priority, a coated shooting line like our TSL Tapered Shooting Line is the best choice.
Our eco vision, Clean All the Way, aims to minimize environmental impact. This fly line features a polyurethane coating instead of PVC, preventing harmful plasticizers (phthalates) from leaching into the water. Our packaging is made from recycled paper with water-based UV coatings, and we've removed all plastic spools from our boxes. The result?
