The Alta NGx jacket is partly constructed using a high-frequency ultrasonic welding technique and offers a very reliable level of waterproofness, best-in-class breathability, and yet remains flexible. The fit is generous in the right places, with articulated shoulders and elbows to avoid resistance when active. The snap-down hood has a stiffened peak and a 3-dimensional, tangle-free adjustment.
A high fleece-lined collar provides maximum protection when the cold gets to you. In the front, the YKK Aquaguard® zip, with a special downpipe construction behind it, keeps you dry in the most fierce weather conditions. The two high chest pockets provide plenty of room for large boxes and also feature dual organizers for tippets & spools. Fleece-lined hand warmer pockets are great when your hands need a bit of help, and all pockets are equipped with splash-proof YKK Aquaguard® zips, meaning the hand warmer pockets double as extra storage.
Dual Hypalon docking stations are great for adding accessories and a plier. The bottom hem has dual adjustments and a mesh drainage system to avoid storing water when wading. Inside, a stretch pocket and an Aquaguard®-zipped pocket offer great storage possibilities for a pair of gloves and a cell phone. The Guideline DuoDrag™ Sleeve Closure System keeps water out of the sleeve ends and includes warming neoprene Velcro cuffs. A D-ring at the neck keeps your net in place.
