Guideline Ambush 3X polarized sunglasses has a matte black polycarbonate frame in a slight curved shape to cut out distubing light from the sides. Fitted with all metal hinges and a rubberized area in the back end of the temples and on the nosepad, which gives a comfortable and secure no-slip fit.
The lenses are grey polarized high quality nylon and in the lower part of the frame there is a +3.0 magnifier area, perfect for changing flies if your close range eyesight is not perfect. A grey lens is well suited for fishing in daylight / strong sun as this is the color that blocks the light most effectively of our sunglasses. The grey color is neutral and gives true colors with no distortion. UV400 Protective Coating in all our lenses blocks 100% of harmful UVA & UVB rays.
Polarized lenses cuts down surface reflections and significantly reducing glare and therefor makes it much easier to see fish in the water. This is very important during sight fishing in clear water rivers or on tropical flats, but it is equally important to be able to monitor any fish following our fly before picking up the line. Polarization also reduce eye fatigue and increases visual accuracy and enhance visual performance. Ambush sunglasses are delivered in a durable zippered hard case with a cleaning cloth included.
